Is a B&B Website a complicated package that will take hours
of effort ?
No ! We have worked hard to produce a ready to go package that requires
very little effort from you. The template system takes care of the
design and layout for you and we handle the installation onto web
hosting.
How much is all this going to cost me ?
We have released the B&B Website package at a great price of
just £99 for the core site. Please see the Costs
page for more details.
How does my B&B Website get online for the world to see ?
Every website that is on the web has to be 'hosted' on storage that
is connected continually to the internet. This facility is provided
by a web server. You may already have a web hosting package, or
you my want us to provide this for you. Either way, we install your
B&B Website for you, saving you alot of time and effort.
What about page content. Is that difficult to add myself ?
No. The package comes complete with a page editing system that enables
you to easily add text and images to each page. The instructions
to teach you how to do this are simple and brief. We provide the
layout of the content so you simply need to type in text (or copy
& paste) and add images. We give you one to one support where
needed to help you.
How do I use the web page editor ?
You simply use your web browser (eg. Internet Explorer) to open
the editor and log in with your password provided. All you need
is a connection to the internet and your computer. Each page of
your site can be edited by using simple point and click steps. No
knowledge of webpage coding is needed.
What if I make a mistake editing my site pages. Will everything
be ruined ?
We explain how you can make a back-up of your pages so you can restore
your content if you need to. If you want to change anything at any
time you simply re-open the page editor and make your changes and
save once again.
I want to add pictures to my site. Can I do this ?
Yes. Using the editing tools we provide with your site package you
can add as many pictures to your site as you want. Photos taken
with your digital camera will need to be re-sized before adding
to your website. We provide full yet easy instructions.
How do I update the Availability Calendar ?
You do this by logging into the site editor and opening the calendar
pages. There are two for each room, each covering 6 months. To mark
a period as booked you simply change the colour of the relevant
date cells by easy point and click.
Can I get Add ons later if I don't want them just yet ?
Yes. The Gallery, Availability Calendar, Google advertising
and even additional template customising can all be purchased at
any time and added to your B&B Website.
